Michael "AR" Silva

Michael joined Coastal Financial in the summer of 2014 while studying Finance at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and attaining his insurance and securities licenses, Michael quickly advanced to his current role. His responsibilities include meeting with clients, planning and executing strategic initiatives, and managing the team. His passion for personal finance, combined with his intellectual ability and problem-solving skills, have been the key factors in his success.

In addition to his work as a financial advisor, Michael is actively involved in his local community. He is treasurer and a board member of Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts, where he visits local classrooms to inspire youths to find their passions and dream big. Michael also serves on the boards of the South Coast Business Alliance to help raise money for at risk local children. He also previously served on the board for the Buttonwood Park Zoological Society and was a mentor for Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll).

When not in the office, Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and enjoying great food. He currently resides in Dartmouth, MA with his wife and two daughters.
